Easter is an established Christian tradition that profoundly affects everyone, even non-Christians. This is because Easter is not limited by sectarian boundaries, just as the coming of the Son of God is not limited by human opinions and understanding. Intuitively, human spirits who still truly believe in God, who recognize that we are not entirely material and that our origin is above Matter, sense the urge to strive towards a resurrection from Matter.
It was only with the granting of the Word by the Spirit of Truth, as promised by Christ, that we can now begin to understand the meaning and essence of Easter, its importance for humanity, and its place in end-time events.
Easter is celebrated annually by Christians as the day the Lord Jesus resurrected from death, but the true concept of Easter is more profound. Easter is actually a Creation or Grail event, as we will discuss. We must recognize that the resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God, in early spring and the association of the celebration of the resurrection with the awakening of spring by early Christians was not accidental. The 40 days he remained in Matter before His ascension was also symbolic.
A parallel can be drawn from events during the Lord Jesus’s life on earth that allow us to understand Easter. The Lord was crucified and died, i.e., dropped His physical body and gross material encumbrances and awakened with an ethereal body to the Ethereal Spheres of the beyond on resurrection morning. He then remained in these finer spheres of the World of Matter for 40 days after, or 42 days if you count from the day He was crucified. During this, He worked with and strengthened His disciples before finally ascending above Matter to His origin in the Father. This path outlines and reminds us of the path we must follow to achieve our goal of resurrecting out of matter to our spiritual origin and home.
We must first resurrect from the encumbrances of gross Matter into pure existence in the ethereal beyond to be followed finally by a complete resurrection out of Matter. The path of the human spirit in Matter thus also goes through a period of existence in gross Matter, at the end of which the physical body is dropped, and we awaken to commence an Ethereal existence.
However, the path ordained for the human spirit differs from the path of an Envoy of God. The Son of God came directly from the Father, the Unsubstantiated Godhead, and returned to the Father after His stay in Matter. Because of the need for a long cycle of development, however, the sojourn of human spirits in the physical body and in the beyond is cyclical, passing through many gross material earth lives and ethereal existences, both linked by repeated incarnations in gross Matter.
Until it fully matures and is able to stand in Spiritual creation in conscious activity, the human spirit must continue in these cycles in Matter. Once it has achieved its goal of development and is fully adjusted to the Will of God, it then resurrects or ascends completely out of Matter. As such, Matter, both gross material and ethereal, may be viewed as a school for the human spirit.
Unfortunately, the human spirits did not follow the normal path of development ordained for them. Because of Spiritual indolence and overdependence on the intellect, the tool it was to use to control and develop Matter, it became bound to the material spheres to the extent that only interventions from God could make it possible for the few who can still develop the strength to awaken and continue on the right path to do so.
But, the span for our development in Matter is finite and bound to the material spheres’ cycle. If we do not mature enough to leave the sphere of Matter in which we live and experience before it must go through its own disintegration, the bound spirit will go through a disintegration of all its developed personality with it.
The concept of Easter embraces the awakening from spiritual sleep and intellectual dependence and leaving Matter to return to our spiritual home. This will then be the Easter of the individual human spirit, our resurrection out of Matter. We are now in the end times when we must achieve Easter, when the Envoy of God, the Son of Man, has come for the harvesting. Hence, every celebration of Easter that reminds us of the imperative for a resurrection from Matter is a call to awaken directed to the human spirit.
Before the coming of the Son of Man, those who have matured enough, i.e., fulfilled their development in Matter, could not completely resurrect out of Matter because the gates of Paradise could only be opened to mature human spirits by an Envoy of God. The level of consciousness possible for us to achieve from experiences in Matter remains short of what is required to step into the Spiritual Realm.
The knowledge and power necessary for this lies only in the Word of God acting directly in Subsequent Creation to achieve it. Such human spirits stop at the highest point of the finest of the ethereal realms, awaiting the coming of the Envoy of God embodying the Word. Having completed their cycle of development, they no longer needed further incarnations in the gross Material (physical) realms.
Resurrection out of Matter into the Spiritual Realm, Paradise, was made temporarily possible with the coming of the Son of God, Jesus, as the Word incarnate. All the other prophets and messengers could only point us toward the Word, but with Jesus, the Word stepped into Material Creation. At that time, therefore, as He Himself emphasized, only the recognition of Jesus as the Son of God and accepting and living His Word could open the gate. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Being an Envoy of God, He is both the shepherd and the gatekeeper to the Kingdom. But humanity soon lost the way again with their rejection of Christ and the distortion of His Word.
Now, with the coming of the Son of Man and the last Cosmic Turning Point, the possibility of a complete resurrection out of Matter has, for the last time, been granted. This now lies in recognizing Imanuel as the Son of Man and the Word He brought. All previous messengers and called ones again had also pointed towards the Word of God coming at the end as the bringer of the end times, the eschatos. As the Envoy of God for the end times, He has brought the promise of Easter for all viable human spirits. Salvation now only lies in the Will of God anchored in Creation.
Because of the state of humanity and our Material Spheres, this promise of a resurrection from Matter can only be fulfilled after a troublesome purification. Following the purification, we may then resurrect finally, i.e., ascend above Matter into our spiritual home. “Easter now proclaims the resurrection of you and all mankind from the spiritual sleep that has endured for many thousand years. It shall proclaim the resurrection of your spirit, which has hitherto been enslaved in the earthbound intellect” (Abd-ru-shin).
As prophesied, the Son of Man comes as the bringer of the end times, the judge from the Father, the incarnate Will of God, at a time when we have exhausted all the possibilities of repeated incarnations because our earth can no longer sustain development. If we can still, even now, fail the promise of Easter, we will remain bound and be compelled to complete the cycle with the material spheres. Thus, the spirit must now make spiritual progress and resurrect out of Matter, or its personality will go through disintegration with the renewal in Matter if it cannot detach itself from Matter on time.
All viable human spirits, whether in gross Matter or in the Ethereal beyond, must now awaken from spiritual slumber and strive within the short period of Grace granted to them to be able to resurrect out of Matter. This end-time grace, the last opportunity to resurrect out of Matter, involves all humanity, wherever they may be in the Material Spheres (ethereal or physical matter), not just Christians.
Humanity and their world are permitted to go through a period of purification at the end of which, if they deserve it, they may resurrect from Matter. Thus, Easter, the period for our resurrection out of Matter, spans a continuity from the awakening (when human spirits as such awaken in the tribulations of the purification) to the final resurrection out of Matter.
Easter day, as will be celebrated by viable human spirits with a longing for the Kingdom of God, embraces the symbolism of Christ’s death, resurrection into the ethereal realm, and, finally, ascension above Matter. The whole period, from the awakening from material encumbrances at the end of the purification (when all that is contrary to God’s Will collapses) to being allowed to return home, is the period of Easter for the human spirits.
Therefore, the Easter period represents the period of winnowing or harvesting when the viable human spirits who have used the grace of the Millennium aright define themselves and are allowed to resurrect out of Matter. They have weathered the storm of the purification. Easter celebration foreshadows these events and reminds us of the grace of God granted by the mission of His Envoys, the Son of God and the Son of Man.
Jesus, the Son of God, came into Creation, lived like a man amongst men, died in the physical body, and resurrected out of Matter back up to His origin. He showed us the path out of Matter. The first step in the resurrection was awakening from physical gross matter into the ethereal beyond (which was immediate, although He first appeared to the disciples after 3 days). We, too, came into the World of Matter from an origin above Matter and are meant to experience Matter and die in the physical body. This is also followed by an awakening in the beyond with an ethereal body that, when necessary, may also be seen by beings in gross Matter capable of doing so.
Ultimately, after we have completed all that we must achieve in Matter, at full spiritual maturity, we will have to resurrect out of Matter to return to our origin. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus foreshadows this Easter of the human spirits in His resurrection from gross Matter into the ethereal and finally out of Matter to His origin in the Father.
Unfortunately, unlike the passage into the ethereal beyond that follows physical death, the final resurrection out of Matter is not guaranteed for all human spirits but only for those who have lived in the Will of God. Humanity came into the Worlds of Mature to bring up-building and gain maturity. When sufficiently mature, the matured human spirit could leave the Material spheres and return to Paradise, his origin. This is the resurrection from Matter and can only be achieved by full maturity in the Will of God for the human spirit.
As we came successively in waves, we were also to have resurrected in waves as we achieved maturity. This stream of human spirits down into Matter and back into the Spiritual Kingdom is the normal path that was unfortunately interrupted by the fall of human spirits. They became stuck in Matter, and the stream of human spirits entering Matter could no longer resurrect out of Matter.
This situation was redressed by the promised Son of Man, who re-established the balance in the Power of His Father. He brought with His coming to earth the grace of God that makes it possible for our earth to survive the judgment, the grace purchased by Love for us on the cross (see the last blog). This grace period spans a symbolic thousand years or millennium during which Satan is bound.
With the binding of Lucifer for a thousand years, the Kingdoms of the world hitherto under the influence of Satan became the Kingdom of our God and His Messiah (rev 11:15). This Kingdom that is now subject to the pressure of the Will of God, which will last through a symbolic thousand years is, therefore, called the Kingdom of a Thousand Years or the Millennium. However, it is still a kingdom emerging from the control of Satan, from the darkness, and therefore needs to be purified of all darkness. We are in the midst of this purification.
Thus, the earth is cleansed during the Millennium, at the end of which, after the overthrow of all darkness, including Satan (after his release from the Abyss) and all his minions and satellites, the human spirits and their world are judged and sentenced. The viable human spirits, whose names are in the Book of Life, awaken and are allowed to ascend out of Matter.
Easter marks a period (not a single day) during which awakened humanity must resurrect from Matter. The resurrection dawn is a new beginning, and, as seen with the Son of God, it will occur as spring, a new beginning for humanity that will be followed by the new era, the Kingdom of Peace on earth. It is only due to human failure that this resurrection must be preceded by painful purification.
The period leading up to Easter is a prolonged period of intense experiences for all humanity that will last over many years. The Millennium clearly is not a literal thousand years as measured on Earth. The exact duration of the purification period is not known by anyone except the Father. It is described as a period of a Thousand Years because it denotes a period of spiritual cleansing.
We are to solemnly experience the period of the purification judgment leading up to Easter, internalizing the pain and difficulties, much like the Son of God did for us during the first Easter week, while at the same time joyfully anticipating our own and mankind’s resurrection if we trust in God.
Apart from Christians, adherents of the Grail Message who also have strong belief and conviction in the person and Mission of Jesus celebrate Easter every year in keeping with the guidance from Abdrushin-Parzival, the Bringer of the Grail Message. However, few wonder why this festival is important for the new covenant. It is certainly not an indication that Grail adherents are affiliated with Christian churches but is in keeping with the fact that Jesus and Abdrushin-Parzival are from the same origin and that their Message, the Word from God, Is One.
It is an act of God’s Grace in Love that we can now consciously prepare for the imminent awakening. We anticipate this imminent resurrection of deserving human spirits from matter every spring at Easter. Easter is, therefore, an important festive occasion in the conscious experiencing of which we receive strength for the tribulations.
Easter is a promise that will manifest for us following a period of intense, stormy, but purifying suffering that leads to an awakening to a new Dawn. During the purification, Lucifer’s direct influence on humanity and world events is removed, i.e., Lucifer remains bound, but this does not mean that all darkness is removed.
As John tells us in the Book of Revelation, the bound Satan was replaced by another Beast arising from humanity, the Beast with the number of Man. This Beast also called the False Prophet or the Beast from the Earth, led humanity during Lucifer’s binding. Under its influence, humanity’s volition also formed an image of the bound Satan and empowered it.
Thus, during the period of purification, the darkness and opposition to the Will of God is still intensely active, led by the Beast from humanity and the image it gave rise to called the Scarlet Beast. These last active beasts are affiliated with Lucifer, but Lucifer himself has been bound. We are today in the midst of this intense period of purification and must look with hope and faith to the resurrection morn.
In the end, Lucifer will once more be released to permit human spirits a final exercise of their free Will. This is demanded by perfect Justice since the human free will, an intricate part of their being, must be allowed even to the end. The short period following the release of Satan is the most intense period of the purification. Following this conflagration described in the revelation as the battle of Armageddon, all contrary Will in subsequent Creation is finally destroyed, the complete collapse of all the props on which failed humanity based their pride. This end marks the Dawn of Easter, the resurrection of viable human spirits.
It will be a time of profound experiences that will be difficult to express, but for those who will emerge victorious, the word of God tells us – “You will experience wondrous things within your souls. Weary almost unto death, yet invigorated afresh with indescribable power, you will at one and the same time feel both fainthearted and courageous, sorrowful yet filled with gladness. As after severe thunderstorms, the last raindrops sparkle and glitter like the finest crystals on flowers and grasses, so will the scalding tears of bitterly lamenting souls suddenly radiate purest joy and deepest gratitude, like flashing diamonds in a jewel!”
Today, our World is already in the grips of the Millennium tribulation and collapse, so much so that we barely find any support for spiritual striving in the world system around us. Events are cascading towards the end, but it will not happen overnight, for the grace of God does not allow the events meant for our salvation to overwhelm us.
We are permitted to celebrate the promise of Easter during special festive hours of reverential Worship and veneration of the Almighty. For most devout Christians, celebrating the advent of Easter is a period of increased spiritual reflection facilitated by fasting and retreats from mundane distractions.
For those who consciously experience the storms of the purification in the knowledge granted in the Grace of God in the Grail Message, Easter bells carry the promise of the day when we awaken to a new dawn of peace and renewal. It will mark the complete withdrawal of Darkness from the earth, which may then bask in the new Light bestowed upon it. But now these bells are calling to Judgment!
Judgment and purification start and are more advanced in the finer ethereal Realms. The storms of purification will intensify incrementally until the final collapse, which will appear suddenly.
Today, even in the dense material planes, we see the collapse of all the props that support our pride and civilization: our economy and belief in the power of money, our democracy and systems of government, our pride in science, health care, and even the social and religious foundations we have relied on.
Humanity is becoming increasingly confused. They will seek to hide from God’s wrath, but shelter will elude them because they have largely ignored God’s grace for the epoch.
May we all find the strength to follow where the spirit leads.
