THE BEAST FROM HUMANITY WITH THE NUMBER 666 (Rev. 13:11-18)

Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is humanity’s number. That number is 666′ (Rev 13:18)

Particularly at this time, speculations are rife about the nature of the beasts of revelation 13 and the number 666, and justifiably so; because our standing in the judgment depends to some extent on our relationship to this beast and its mark. We must first understand that the Beast with the number 666 is not of Satan. The Dragon and the Beast from the sea are from and of Lucifer, as already discussed but the Beast with the number 666 is from humanity, although it has voluntarily subjected itself to Satan.

This is intrinsic in the description of the Beast. “Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. Rev 13 11). This beast arose from the material spheres, the earth. It resembled a lamb indicating that it is of spiritual essence and has two horns symbolizing the authority or scope of influence of humanity in Subsequent Creation which is anchored in passive and active working. And later, in Rev 13:18, we are told that it has the number of humanity (man).

 To understand the significance of the beast with the number of Man, we must understand Man and his place and role in Material Creation. This knowledge is available to all, as a gift from God for the end time, in the work, ‘In the Light of Truth, the Grail Message’.

Briefly, Man is a spiritual being from Spiritual Creation who descended into Matter to mature through his experiences. To achieve this, he appropriated a physical body that arose out of the Material spheres. This physical body molded out of Matter anchors him in Matter, and through it, the spiritual core has to experience.

Spiritual volition is alien to Matter and without transformation cannot effectively impact the Material. The major tool granted through the physical body with which the spirit will influence Matter is the intellect, which is a fine material function connected to the forebrain. The intellect is not the same as erudition but represents the ability of the human being with which it interacts with its surroundings, i.e., to deal with Matter. Thus, an illiterate man can manifest greater intellectual sagacity, for example in envy, cheating, deception, duplicity, etc., than the most erudite man. The intellect by its nature is thus not learnedness nor is it evil, but merely an important tool to be molded and influenced by spiritual intuition.

The intellect is the highest and finest of all the Material abilities the spirit was granted, but like all that is Material is meant to be subject to the guidance of the responsible spirit. With its seat in the brain, the intellect belongs to fine gross Matter and will incline to matter if left uncontrolled by the spirit. And the alert spirit in Material Creation is fully equipped and capable of controlling its tool.

The failure of human spirits in the World of Matter started as a consequence of spiritual indolence. They were no longer impacting Matter as the Will of God mandated. The Love of God intervened and Lucifer was sent from the volition of an Archangel in the Divine plane, well above Spiritual Creation, the origin of the failing human spirits. His mandate was to bring supportive Love that will help strengthen the human spirits in their activity. Not surprisingly part of his work was to help us with the use of the intellect, the tool with which we are to be effective in Matter.

The failure of Lucifer, as discussed in the previous blogs stands on its own and is clearly described allegorically in the Bible (Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 14:12-15, Rev. 12). The fall of man (humanity) also stands on its own since it arose from a personal choice to go against the expressed Will of God. Lucifer as Satan can only tempt us by misplacing the milestones but cannot force us to act. We can therefore not blame our failures on him. The temptation lay in directing the human spirits towards reliance on the intellect. The deliberate turning away of the spirits towards Matter, which was against the clear mandate from God described in the Bible as the fall of man, marked the beginning but this has been a continued trend in human development ever since. The intellect became increasingly subject to the leading of Lucifer in most of humanity as the spirit increasingly lost control of its tool due to deepening indolence.

Increasing dependence on the intellect meant subjecting human spiritual movement to intellectual processing and decision. Thus, even the little spiritual activity the human spirits still had was now turned away from God, and directed towards material things. In addition, because the intellect is of material essence, its development and properties can be inherited through genes. Therefore, the intellectual brain also became increasingly more sophisticated and more cultivated over time at the expense of the intuitive receptive part of the brain.

Thus, human beings by their own wrong choices have unalterably harmed their development, by increasing the potential for intellectual domination and by transferring the defects of the overcultivated, domineering intellect to each successive generation. Since this tendency, which being gross material is encoded in the genes, is passed on to subsequent generations to be refined and improved, this also became the inherited sin of humanity.

However, intellectual knowledge directs only to Matter and leads away from God. With the increasing prominence of intellectual activity, the spirit became more attached to Matter and more distanced from a consciousness of God, and over epochs of development, the intellect as it were, tied off the spirit from its real activity and buried it in layers of impurity. Humanity focused its attention almost exclusively on Matter, further promoting reliance on the intellect. Over the ensuing epochs of human development, the tendency to intellectual pre-occupation became a dominant force. This dominant trait bound us like nothing else could to Matter and the leading of Lucifer and made it extremely difficult to perceive spiritual impressions.

The human spirits became even more indolent, more asleep, sleeping towards death. The human spirit has lost its path in Creation; from a goal directed upwards to its spiritual home and God to a goal limited to Matter, which will ultimately lead to eternal separation from God, hence spiritual death. Since the root problem that allowed the failure of the intellect is the indolence of the human spirit, only the awakened spirit may still take back control of its path from the leading of the intellect. Hence the call from the Envoys of God, the Son of God Jesus and the Son of Man, for spiritual awakening. “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God… That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:3-7 KJV).

Through the intellect, it became easy for Satan to penetrate any form of human endeavor. And even the churches and religious movements were no exception. As long as one has not freed himself/herself from the domination of the intellect i.e., as long as the spirit has not awakened to take back control, any human spirit is prey to the influence of Satan and his minions. Only faith and adherence to the Word of Truth that carries the Will of God could still awaken a spirit to shake off the dominance of the intellect and thus the stranglehold of Lucifer. The failure to follow the teachings of Christ and the distortion of His Word meant that most of humanity, without necessarily being aware of it, have become the tools of Lucifer, the Anti-Christ.

The natural intrinsic ability of the human spirits inherent in their spirituality was misguided by the dominating intellect towards Matter and the worship of Lucifer. It channeled the power and volition of the human spirit, which the spirit draws from the neutral power of God, the only real power that exists, towards Satan and the darkness. The inevitable consequence is judgment and condemnation. But the Love of God is ever watchful and as a support for the end time Judgment, the Grace of God’s Love has granted the last anchorage of the Word for our redemption in the Grail Message.

Because of our spiritual origin, the output from the volition of human spirits can take on forms. Over millennia of development, the collective volition of humanity imbued with power from the spirit but distorted by the intellect slowly took on form and coalesced, following the Law of attraction of homogeneous species, into a powerful beast with a center of activity in the fine and finer planes of Matter. John sees this form as a beast arising from humanity in the World of Matter (the earth). Because it arose from man, the Beast from the Earth has the nature of the lamb, the representation of Spirituality in Creation, and has the number of failed humanity (man).

Although the intellect and its output are of material essence, human spirits, with their spiritual intuition, imbued it with life. This living ethereal form of our spiritual volition towards Satan is the beast from the earth. The living volition arising from the spirit, which was meant to bring up-building to Material Creation and to produce a replica of the Kingdom of God on earth, took on a monstrous form, producing dark caricatures of what is Willed by God.

By the time the Son of Man came for judgment, the human intellectual dominance was so profound that most of humanity was already irretrievably lost to its leading. Thus, when as part of His end-time activity, the Son of Man finally bound Satan (in the form of the Beast from the Sea), the ethereal form of human corporate intellectual activity (the beast from the earth) became prominent and promptly gave rise to an image of its master, the first or original beast, the form of Satan’s activity at the point of its binding. This image is later identified as the scarlet beast.

The activity of Lucifer in opposition to the Will of God has always been through the control of the human intellect. Indeed, Lucifer’s activity against the Light was only possible through this human failure. However, not all human spirits had subjected their volition completely to intellectual dominance although all humanity necessarily carry the intellect as the tool with which to be active in Matter. It is for the relatively few who can still be awakened that the Love of God extended the grace of salvation before the judgment.

Through the intellect Lucifer could penetrate all facets of the activity of the human spirits, penetrating even to the very altar in the various sects and churches. It was through manipulation of the failed intellectual volition of man that Satan induced humanity to crucify the Son of God and to shift the essential basis of His Mission. It is intellectual sophistry that today continues to lead humanity with a false representation of the Truth by distorting the Message of the Son of God, Jesus, and ignoring the Mission of the Son of Man.

The beast from humanity, arising from the attachment of human intellectual volition to Lucifer, has existed from the time of the fall of man, increasing in power and influence through physical heredity. And today, the influence of the beast from the earth has become so profound that humanity is almost exclusively inclined toward Matter. Material goals drive every endeavor and the line between good and evil has become so finely drawn that only a few can recognize the right path. When, with the manifestation of the promised Son of Man, Satan was bound in the Abyss, this beast reared its head to now lead the activity of the darkness. Although Satan has been bound, the beast arising from humanity will remain as long as human spiritual activity remained free.

This beast performed great signs (miracles, scientific and technological marvels, etc.) further ensnaring many human beings. This beast, not surprisingly, has even more connection and influence over humanity because it arose from them. It is because of these apparent miracles that many more succumb to the leading of the intellect away from God.

John could see that these marvels, which indicate human intellectual achievements in opposition to the path indicated by the Will of God, could only be produced in the presence or under the guidance of Lucifer, the original Beast (human intellectual excess or over-cultivation is linked to the volition of Lucifer). Therefore, to remain relevant, the beast needed to maintain a link with its master, the original beast now in the abyss. The first order of business for the beast from the earth was to mislead human spirits to use their ability as spiritual beings, who can connect with the Principal Neutral Power of God, to give life to an image of the beast bound in the Abyss.

Because of the false miracles, it could perform and its false leading, the beast from humanity, is also called the False Prophet. The domination of humanity by the false prophet became more pronounced and more open. Everyone now had to receive the mark of this beast to remain relevant in the system. The mark, which is the number of its name, is also that of the now living image of the beast from the sea and consequently of the bound Satan, the first or original Beast. The worship of the original Beast also means worship of materiality because, with his activity, Satan had turned human spiritual striving towards material goals. Human achievements led by the intellect, great as it appears misrepresents, and are but caricatures of what could have been achieved if humanity had remained faithful to their spirituality.

It is relevant that this mark is on the forehead, the seat of the intellect, or the right hand, the symbol of activity. The number or name of the beast indicates its origin from human failure; a number signifying unfaithfulness and imperfection, the number of sin, 666. The revelation was clear that this is not the number of a man but the number of man or failed humanity in Material Creation. This number and its meaning will be discussed further in the next blog.

The beast arising from the corporate misuse of human spiritual abilities became the main satellite of Satan during the thousand-year period, the Millennium.   It is the beast active for the darkness during the purification judgment. It is the beast of this epoch; the beast humanity must now contend with.
