THE BEGINNING OF THE END TIMES
Because we predominantly rejected, persecuted, or killed the prophets and helpers, the state of humanity and our world became darker and darker. At the critical Turning-Point when human spirits were in danger of being completely lost; when the darkness had overshadowed the earth to an extent that the prophets and helpers can no longer reach the human spirits, God again intervened and sent a direct Envoy, a part out of Him, His Son.
The name Son of God is not in the sense of a son as applied to human beings. Son of God means a part of God, a radiation from His Divine Unsubstantiality that takes on form for us. The state of our world at that time was succinctly described by the Son of God, Jesus in the parable of the Tenants1. The grace was granted so that intransigent humanity may perhaps listen to the Son of God and repent. This was a critical World Turning Point for human Spirits in the Worlds of Matter.
In addition to bringing us support and the possibility of salvation in the Word, the Truth He embodied and represented, the emergency mission of the Son of God also anchored the Light once more in the darkness. Despite our ups and downs, at the time of the coming of Christ, some amongst humanity had developed to a stage when they could be given insight into the Divine Realm. The knowledge absolutely essential for any spirit that had a chance of further development from then on was the knowledge about the Son of God.
The knowledge about Jesus was the defining Truth for this great Turning-Point and only those that recognise Him or to whom this knowledge could be mediated could find the way to the Light. Thus, the knowledge about Jesus as the Son of God was the key to the Kingdom of heaven, which Christ figuratively handed over to Peter, who was the first to achieve this recognition2, and through him to all to whom this knowledge could be mediated. It was the rock on which he built His following.
Christ also brought us the knowledge of God as a Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but the full impact of the knowledge of the Trinity was for a later time. At that time, eternal Life lay only in knowing the Father and Jesus Christ whom He sent. This critical Turning-Point thus brought us clarity about Divinity and extended our spiritual awareness to the possibility of knowledge about the Trinity.
THE LAST WORLD TURNING POINT
Unfortunately, as has repeatedly happened with all helps from the Light, human spirits remained stubbornly attached to Matter except for a few. They rejected the Son of God and killed Him, as He had earlier implied in the parable of the Tenants1 and as prophesied even before He came. In regards to prophecies about Christ’s reception by humanity culminating in His death on the cross, we must be aware that a prophecy is always predicated on human response and not an inevitable happening. The prophecy about His suffering and death should therefore not be taken as an ordination from God. They considered Him a troublesome Truth bringer, out to upset their temporal power and comfortable material circumstances.
We are now in the long-dreaded end of the ages which Christ warned about in Matthew chapter 24; when the cycle of the earth begins to go into decline and can no longer support development. By this time, all human spirits who had accepted the Word brought by Christ were expected to have attained sufficient maturity to welcome the Kingdom of the Father. It is important to recognize that the Mission of Christ was not for Christians or Jews but for all human spirits that have a longing to recognise and serve God. The documentations in the Bible are important as a guide and anchor for many but do not represent the Word in its entirety and its pristine Holiness. The Word that Christ brought and represented was anchored in Creation and all who open their spirit to receive, those who genuinely seek, are granted access to the Word.
The Mission of Christ was to ensure that we receive sufficient support and enlightenment to enable us still achieve enough maturity before the Son of Man comes with the judgment. He repeatedly warned us about the coming end time and the need to prepare for it. His parables and teachings about the end of the ages indicate events happening around us in this epoch. Unfortunately, the majority of us have either not genuinely sought or having been granted access to the Word He brought, have even distorted it to a point that it has become an obstacle for others. We did not live up to the Word Jesus brought! We are now at the point when the Judge from God, the Son of Man, has come to harvest the earth.
When it became apparent that humanity will reject Him as earlier prophesied, Jesus appealed to His Father, and our Father, that further knowledge and enlightenment be granted to the few striving human spirits before the Judgment. Remember His promise to those who love and obey His word in John 14:15-16. ‘And I will ask the Father, and He will send you another comforter, to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of Truth’ 3.
Christ’s extension of Grace, by sending the Spirit of Truth as the last help to humanity, is another act of Divine Love, the magnitude of which will remain eternally incomprehensible to all Creation. This last help will thus also be the last Turning-Point because with it All the Truth about Creation will be given to mankind as promised by Christ. The Message of the Spirit of Truth will therefore be the last extension of knowledge and will bring the last World Turning Point. With it, all the Truth about Creation will have been given to mankind.
Humanity had systematically been led to the knowledge about Creation and their place in it, even up to about the Divine. With the coming of Christ, more knowledge about the Creator and the Love of God in Creation was granted. The knowledge for the end time, for the last Cosmic Turning Point, is knowledge about Imanuel, the Will of the Father in Creation. With the knowledge about Imanuel comes the Judgment because He, as the Son of Man, God with us, is the bringer of the Final Judgment. As with the case when the Son of God was sent, the knowledge of Imanuel at this time is the only way to the Light.
Christ’s mission was an emergency mission to ensure that we may be found worthy in the judgment. Those who accepted Jesus received the grace to once more become children of God, thus the possibility of achieving salvation. For anyone to enter the Kingdom of God, however, they must accept and live the Will of the Father eternally encoded in Creation. This Creative Will of God is embodied in the Holy Spirit, Imanuel, and in this end-time judgment, the Father sends His Creative Will in person into the world, as He earlier sent His Love. And He comes with the sceptre of Justice.
‘Now comes a new, great Turning-Point which also brings new knowledge!… The great Cosmic Turning-Point now in effect also entails the absolute necessity for an expansion of knowledge up to the existence of Imanuel, in Whom the Turning Point is now being fulfilled! He who still insists on disregarding these new Divine revelations may no longer remain in Creation, but he will be erased from the book of life. Thus is it willed by God! And His Holy Will is now being fulfilled on mankind from this hour on with a force becoming visible to all through the power of the Light, which no one can resist’4.
Christ spent a good proportion of the time of His mission admonishing and teaching about the coming of the Son of Man, who He sometimes also calls the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, or the Bridegroom. The fact that we have chosen to ignore His teachings and focus on His blood or that we have ignored the emphasis on the coming of the Son of Man, detracts nothing from the Truth. And Christ warns “But when He the Son of Man comes will He still find faith on earth?”5.
The Son of God insisted that we must remain alert to recognise the Son of Man and follow Him because He will come like a thief in the night. The parable of the ten virgins6 is directed at those who still have a spiritual longing after God at the end time, those who are still spiritually viable. These He describes as virgins. To recognise the Son of Man, these must keep their intuitive perception (their lamp) alert and their volition (the oil) must remain in pure activity. These are spiritual attributes that cannot be lent or shared, and once our lamp goes out and can no longer be replenished, the individual cannot recognise the Son of Man and will be lost.
In addition to keeping the hearth of our thoughts pure and burning so that we may merit the invitation, Christ in another parable emphasised that we must also keep our spiritual garments clean so that we may be found worthy when we enter the wedding banquet of the bridegroom7. Even when we are invited to the marriage of the bridegroom, even when we have recognised Him, the purity of our standing determines who is allowed into the Kingdom by the Bridegroom (the Son of Man). We must strive with all our ability to remain pure in the Will of God for many are called but few are chosen.
With so many such clear parables the Son of God taught us to remain alert for the coming and the work of the Son of Man who will come with all the Truth Christ was unable to give us; who will glorify Christ by purifying His Mission of all human distortions and who will bring the Judgement8. ‘Thus, at the great Cosmic Turning-Point now operating, there also comes the absolute necessity for an extension of knowledge. Either the human spirit must swing itself upwards to knowledge or remain stationary, which latter is equivalent to the setting in of decay’4
We should now, if we are faithful adherents of the teachings of the Son of God, Jesus, be clear who the Son of Man is and recognise Him and His Mission. Those who insist on confounding the two Envoys of God, Jesus and Imanuel, and who insist that Jesus as the Love of God will be coming again at the end time must pause and ask themselves in which role He is now coming and what they must do to recognise Him. It should be a simple matter to recognise that the names and roles for Jesus as the Son of God, part of the Trinity are different from that of Imanuel as the Son of Man, also part of the Trinity. Simple to recognise that the Son of God cannot at the same time be the Son of Man.
Jesus was emphatic that He is not the Judge, therefore He cannot be that Son of Man that will bring the judgment. He tells us that He is going back to the Father and we will no longer see Him in the role of saviour for mankind but that the Son of Man will come like Him from the same source in the Father. It is only in this sense, in the sense that they are one in the Father that we can expect a second coming of the Light.
